Jean-Michel Maulpoix

Born in 1952, Jean-Michel Maulpoix teaches modern and contemporary French literature at the University Paris X Nanterre (France). He has published some thirty titles, poetic texts, critical essays and miscellanies. They have a common aim: the elucidation of what might be called the poetic. His work more frequently evolves on the frontiers of narrative.

His main books are published at "Le Mercure de France" : Une histoire de bleu, L'Ecrivain imaginaire, Domaine public. The english translation of A matter of blue, by Mrs Dawn Cornelio, has been published by Boa, in Rochester (USA) in 2005.

Most recent publications : Adieux au poème (J.Corti, 2005) and Boulevard des capucines (Mercure de France, 2006). 

He is also the director of the trimestrial review of literature and critics Le Nouveau Recueil(éd. Champ vallon, 01420 Seyssel)
