Born in 1952, Jean-Michel Maulpoix teaches modern
and contemporary French literature at the University Paris X Nanterre (France). He has published some
thirty
titles, poetic texts, critical essays and miscellanies. They have a common
aim: the elucidation of what might be called the poetic. His work more frequently evolves on the frontiers of narrative.
His main books are published at "Le Mercure de France" : Une histoire de bleu,
L'Ecrivain imaginaire, Domaine public.
The english translation of A matter of blue, by
Mrs Dawn Cornelio, has been published by Boa, in
Rochester (USA) in 2005.
